"After over a decade of experience in the eye-care industry seeing patients day in and day out, I realised that the eyewear industry had not changed much. The styles of glasses were much the same, being given to patients in their big bulky cases. I would see numerous patients time and time again who would come in with broken glasses, complaining of their glasses being uncomfortable, heavy or unclear. I remember one patient who was searching through her bag and brought out 5 pairs of broken reading glasses! It just seemed frustrating and inconvenient."

In search for a more innovative, minimalistic and effective range of eyewear, Owly Eyewear™ was born. Why Owly? Well, Owls have amazing vision. They symbolise wisdom inspired by their big eyes and solemn appearance. They're also very cute!

Our mascot "Owly" is very shy but he will pop up now and again to say hi. So keep an eye out!

"I wanted to create an amazing Eyewear Brand that was high-quality, stylish, minimalistic and innovative but also fun."

When creating innovative eyewear, we focus on the 3Cs which are "Comfort, Clarity and Convenience".

Our starting product is just that! It includes a thin case and thin glasses design. The thin glasses design is achieved by using a screw-less hinge. The design and materials used help make these glasses extremely convenient, weighing only 14g! The case is also only 7mm thin.
